- Female voters were split btwn Edwards and Clinton
- Edwards, born in South Carolina (although became a senator in NC), suffers another crushing defeat...It seems he will continue to fight

Highlights:
- McCain coming out with another strong victory, but followed closely by Huckabee
- Surprisingly enough...Huckabee won the Christian/protestant vote
- A lot of people said they voted for Huckabee because he shares their values
- Separation of church and state much?
- McCain won the vote for people who felt strongly that the war in Iraq is the biggest problem facing this country
