Although McCain was obviously running away with the race, I was still a little surprised that Mitt Romney dropped out this quickly after Super Tuesday, I expected him to wait a little bit longer, see if maybe the momentum was gonna change any time soon.
By entering the political blogosphere, Swarthmore students are holding politicians accountable for the rhetoric and rejecting the political apathy that plagues college campuses. All "macaca" blunders will be ridiculed, every hypocritical mudsling exposed, and every abuse of power condemned. By staying abreast of current events and aware of political trends, Swatties are proving that college students need not a military draft to compel their political awareness.
