Barack Obama has been accused of plagiarizing Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick's speech. Patrick and Obama are friends, and Obama apparently excused the faux pas by saying, "I'm stealing this line from my buddy Deval Patrick, who stole a whole bunch of lines from me when he ran for the governorship."
Nonetheless, this video is pretty damning:
This morning, Mareen Dowd quoted Hillary Clinton, saying, "If your whole candidacy is about words, they should be your own words.” Ouch!

I think this warrants being sent to SFJC, and I also think he would be given a punishment from them. Nonetheless, I think his explanation is all that is needed to exempt him for getting too much crap for it, if the two are friends, then there's no reason why he can't borrow his idea. Although he could've done a better job of delivering it, if you ask me.
