As Obama gains increasing support among Democrats (including the endorsement of much respected Senator and former presidential candidate Chris Dodd), the Clinton campaign has unleashed what one aide called "the kitchen sink" attack plan. She has gone the "Obama is inexperienced" route, the "Obama is all talk" route, and now it seems that she is utilizing the "Fox News-like OBAMA IS MUSLIM" route to trash the popular Senator.
Clinton denies that the photo came from her campaign, but if it did, the smear tactic is really appalling. Despite the fact that Obama went to Somalia on a political trip and his traditional dress was a sign of respect, the publication of this photo assumes that Americans are xenophobic and racist -- unwilling to elect a president who is has any connection to Africa.
The Drudge Report printed the following photo of Obama in Somalia, dressed in traditional garb. They say that the photo was leaked by the Clinton Camp.

BUT the attacks have not come excusively from Dems. Republican radio host Bill Cunningham referred to Obama three times, using his full name Barack Hussein Obama while intoducing John McCain at a rally last week
McCain's response was admirable: “I condemn it, and if I have any responsibility, I will take the responsibility, and I apologize for it,” he said.

I can't load the video due to the horrible internet at school so I am not sure if the video mentions this but...
Supposedly the group that Obama was with has requested Hilary send a number of sheep and cattle as a form of apology. In their culture a giving of such reflects a persons sincere apologies.
The coverage of this "obama is a muslim" story is really incredible. Has anyone ever stopped to ask why it makes such a big difference? It's a reminder of the horrible world we live in.
I would argue that his experience with Islam -- attending a Madrasa, having Muslim relatives -- should totally be considered. We aren't color-blind; nor are we religion-blind. That being said, I think that, given our Middle East quagmire, his knowledge of Islam is an ASSET of his candidacy, not a liability. His first-hand experience in Muslim world will be integral to successful diplomacy in the Middle East....At least I would imagine.

The claim that Barack has noteworthy experience in the Muslim world is totally erroneous! His father was born and raised as a Muslim, but remained mostly Atheistic when he was raising Barack. Barack Obama is currently a practicing CHRISTIAN. He attended a simple Muslim school when he was younger, NOT a Madrassa, which teaches the more fundamentalist tenets associated with radical Islam and Islamic terrorism.
On a different note, I did hear something about the sheep/cattle incident, which is probably the most interesting public apology any politician has ever issued (a far cry from "I did not have sexual relations with that woman")
