Any hypotheses as to why? Is his momentum from Super Tuesday paying off? What can/will the Clinton camp do? She already fired campaign manager Patty Solis Doyle.

Patty is a shame to the Doyle name.
its too bad that people on the news cant just say what they think without being worried about the consequences of their actions with respect to later participation with the network... ahem hillary
I think momentum is a huge factor in politics, and I definitely think that played a major role in Obama's recent victories. He's sort of the "hot" pick, especially among youth, and he's getting a lot of attention for it. Obamarama is in full swing.
As McCain emerges as the clear Republican front runner, I believe people are gravitating to Obama because they feel that he has a better chance of beating him than Hilary. Obama can rally independent voters behind him better than Hilary can. The last thing that left-leaning voters want to do is take a risk by voting for who they would like to be president as opposed to voting for the candidate that can actually win. That's part of what got us into this mess to begin with. Folks voted for Nader and cost the dems the first election. Not this time...
